Es David Axelrod, el arquitecto del jazz, no un sampler. El estrecho del hip hop aún tiene una deuda pendiente. James Lavelle, siempre un paso por delante en las oficinas de Mo Wax, la saldó en 2001.

El conciertazo llega en 2004. Unos treinta músicos dirigidos por el maestro en el Royal Festival Hall de Londres. Un repaso con temas nuevos como “The Edge”, adaptado el año siguiente en su antología - coordinada por Egon para Blue Note.

Mochilla, Wax Poetics y ArtDontSleep presentarían más tarde el estreno del documental del mismo en DVD, dirigido por la propia Dana Axelrod. Larga promo y aquí lo tienes... entre otros, Richard Ashcroft (The Verve) colabora en “Holy Are You”, o al propio “Axe” puño en alto y confesando, ¡Odio las muestras!
