Este año se conmemora el 50º aniversario del club Nova Jazz Cava, sede del festival, y para celebrarlo el festival contará con las actuaciones destacadas del pianista Ahmad Jamal, el violinista francés Didier Lockwood o el mítico batería norteamericano Jeff ‘Tain’ Watts, entre otros muchos grandes músicos. Además, el programa apuesta por la mezcla de músicos nacionales e internacionales, como en la actuación del próximo jueves del contabajista Dave Holland y el guitarrista de flamenco Pepe Habichuela.

Upper Egypt Series Zine quiere unirse a tal celebración, y rendir su tributo a lo grande, y rescatar esos momentos mágicos que ha ofrecido el festival. Y no hay mejor manera que hacerlo de la mano de nuestro querido Pedro Valera, que nos ofrece la posibilidad de dar luz a un material de primera, único. Inexistente.

This year marks the 50th anniversary of the Nova Jazz Cava Club, site of the festival, and to celebrate the festival highlights will feature performances by the pianist Ahmad Jamal, the French violinist Didier Lockwood and the legendary American drums Jeff 'Tain' Watts, among others many great musicians. In addition, the program supports the mix of national and international musicians, as in the performance of next Thursday's bass Dave Holland and flamenco guitarist Pepe Habichuela.

Upper Egypt Series Zine wishes to pay tribute, and to rescue the magical moments of the festival. And what better way to do it in the hands of Pedro Valera, showing unique.
